LISA LYONSJOSEPH IBERIS
XSTRUTHERS -- Lisa Lynn Lyons and Joseph David Iberis were married at noon June 7 at St. Nicholas Church. Parents of the couple are Richard and Terri Lyons of Boardman and Joseph and Barbara Iberis of Struthers.
The Rev. Phillip Rogers officiated, and a reception followed at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. After a honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise, the couple are living in Poland.
The bride's white strapless gown featured a corset-style bodice and ballgown organza skirt, all embellished with Austrian crystals.
Lora Lyons was maid of honor, and matron of honor was Ann-Marie Nohra. They wore lilac gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Amy Horning, Lesley Bagnoli, Susan Shreck, Anna Smith, Melissa Iberis and Tara Lyons. Miniature bride was Cassidy Lyons, and Emily Lyons was flower girl.
Best man was Michael Iberis, and groomsmen were Tony and Michael Coppola, Michael Capozzi, Richard Will, Joshua Horning, Nick Demetrios and Daniel Swanson. Samuel Coppola was miniature groom, and ring bearer was Patrick Lyons.
Mrs. Iberis holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a master's degree from Youngstown State University. She teaches English at Lowellville High School.
Her husband attended YSU and earned his Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy certificate from Western Reserve Institute Police Academy in Boardman. He is a deputy sheriff with the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department.
