XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Julie Brandt and Sam Sargent were married at 2 p.m. May 31 at the Free Methodist Community Church.
The bride is a daughter of William and Kathleen Brandt, 5660 E. Calla Road. Mr. Sargent is a son of Mary Ann Sargent, 28 Deeringwood Drive, and the late Sam Sargent.
The Rev. William Mountcastle and the bride's brother-in-law, the Rev. Darrell Arms, officiated, and a reception was held at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
The couple are living at 117 Camvet Drive, Campbell.
Joni Mitchell was honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Corrie Leicht, the bride's cousin, and Patience Avelson, her niece. Junior bridesmaids were Allynda and Angella Arms, the bride's nieces. They wore periwinkle gowns. Flower girls were Britteny Mitchell, Jillian and Erin Scroggs, the bride's nieces, and Sydney Sargent, the groom's niece.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Justin Sargent, and groomsmen were another brother, Ryan Sargent, and his cousin, Mark Orbin. Tanner Sargent, the groom's nephew, and Scott Mitchell, the bride's nephew, were ring bearers.
Mrs. Sargent is a baby sitter.
Her husband is a journeyman plumber with Local 396 Plumbers and Pipefitters in Youngstown.
