XYOUNGSTOWN -- Jacqueline Locketti and Kenneth R. Jones Jr., both of 101 N. Lincoln Lane, Arlington Heights, Ill., were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 5 at St. Matthias Church.
Monsignor Peter Polando officiated at the ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at the Saxon Club, Austintown.
John and Mary Locketti, 863 E. Florida Ave., are parents of the bride. The groom is a son of Martha Jones of Champlin, Minn., and the late Kenneth Jones Sr.
The bride's two-piece ensemble featured a satin A-line gown and a chiffon chapel-length duster accented with sequins and bugle beads. Her fingertip veil was gathered to a crystal and pearl crown, and she held a bouquet or roses and hydrangea.
Wearing gowns accented with a deep apple color were the honor attendants, Paula Grandolph, the bride's sister, and Carly Grandolph, her niece. Similar gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Monique Kane and Brenda Kozar. Flower girl was Grace Kane.
Serving as best man was Jeff Triest, and groomsmen were Joe Locketti, the bride's brother; Tim Gruenhagen, the groom's brother-in-law; and Jonathan Locketti, her nephew. Ring bearer was Jacob Thompson, the groom's nephew, and ushers were Dominic Locketti, Ross Grandolph and Jordan Locketti, her nephews.
Also participating were the groom's nieces, Jennifer, Sara and Jamie Kolby.
The bride is an intranet publisher and senior financial specialist with Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook, Ill.
The groom served as a photojournalist with the U.S. Army, U.S. Command in Berlin, Germany, from 1986 to 1989. He received a bachelor's degree from Fort Louis College, Durango, Colo., and earned a master's in European history at Loyola University, Chicago, where he is a doctoral candidate in the department of history and is employed while writing his dissertation.
