XGREENFORD --The Rev. Jeff Bennett presided at 3 p.m. May 31 as Christine Marie Remner, 17603 Whitney Road, Strongsville, and Marshall B. Rupert of New Springfield were united in marriage at Greenford Christian Church.
After a reception at the Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana, the couple left for a honeymoon at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They live in New Springfield.
The bride is a daughter of Maria Remner, 102 Maplewood Drive, New Middletown, and the late Thomas Remner. Parents of the groom are Harold Rupert , 4251 W. Candy Apple Court, New Middletown, and the late Shirley Rupert.
Blush-pink satin edged the portrait neckline of the bride's ivory satin sheath gown that was accented with lace appliques and featured a semicathedral train.
Cornflower-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Joyce Swantek, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer Diehl, Shelly Remner, Jodi Liscio and Danielle Schafer. Junior attendants were Taylor Remner and Jordan Peshek.
Best man was Kent Rupert, and groomsmen were Steve Remner, Eric Remner, Josh Wiery and Albert Librizzi. Junior attendants were Justin and Lucas Remner.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, and a master's at Cleveland State University. She is a strategic account manager with Cargill Inc., North Olmsted.
The groom, a machinist with Ellwood Crankshaft Machine Co., Hermitage, Pa., graduated from Choffin Career Center, Youngstown.
