GIRARD
June 29
Burglary: Police arrested a 16-year-old Girard boy on charges of burglary and underage drinking. An equalizer unit, stereo receiver, guitar tuner and other items were taken from a residence in the 500 block of Mosier Road.
Assault: A Niles man claimed his uncle punched him in the left eye as the victim sat in his vehicle. He had redness and swelling near the left eye.
Breaking and entering: An East Second Street woman alleged her former boyfriend cut some screens and broke into her residence through a window.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a South Davis Street man on a domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he threatened to kill himself and her with a shotgun.
June 30
Theft: A man reported a screw gun, a saw, a tool set, a toolbox with miscellaneous tools and a sledgehammer stolen from a building he was remodeling in the 10 block of South Davis Street.
Arrest: Police cited a Girard man on a charge of disorderly conduct after responding to a fight near Davis Street and Ohio Avenue.
LIBERTY
June 21
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of Yvonne Drive reported a duffel bag containing various medical supplies, seven compact discs and loose change stolen from her car.
June 23
Vehicle theft: A man reported his 1998 Dodge Durango stolen from a residence in the 3400 block of Hadley Road.
Theft: An employee at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., returned to work and discovered her wallet containing $130 and her driver's license stolen.
June 24
Criminal damage: A vehicle's vent window was broken in the Holiday Inn MetroPlex parking lot, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
Theft: A man stole two boxes of Slim Jim snack food from a Shell True North gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave.
Domestic violence: Police charged a 19-year-old Youngstown man with domestic violence after investigating a possible child-abuse situation at a residence in the 1300 block of West Montrose Street. The 4-year-old girl had redness in her eyes and abrasions under her eyes.
Assault: A woman in the 30 block of Marla Drive reported her former boyfriend shoved her during an argument at a residence in the 40 block of James Lane. The man said she grabbed him in the groin area.
June 25
Assault: Police arrested a 32-year-old Youngstown man on charges of assault and criminal trespassing after his girlfriend alleged he came to her Naylor-Lloyd Road apartment and struck her in the head and pulled her hair during a fight.
Attempted theft: A woman tried to steal a package of lobster tails from Giant Eagle.
Arrest: Police charged a 33-year-old Youngstown woman with theft and misuse of a credit card after her mother alleged the woman placed $2,500 worth of fraudulent charges on her credit card while the victim was on vacation.
June 26
Theft: A man in the 1300 block of Montrose Street reported a Sony PlayStation game console stolen from his apartment.
June 27
Assault: An employee at Belmont Pines, 615 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, reported a 15-year-old patient punched him in the face on two occasions and threatened to kill him.
Theft/criminal damage: An employee at Rentway, 2718 Belmont Ave., reported his vehicle's rear window broken and a toolbox with various tools stolen.
Vandalism: The owner of an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Hadley Road alleged a male tenant damaged four doors and three light fixtures.
Arrest: After running a vehicle registration check, police arrested a 63-year-old Youngstown man on Belmont Avenue and charged him with failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.
June 28
Theft: A man stole five cartons of cigarettes from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: After responding to an incident at Denny's Restaurant, 4020 Belmont Ave., police charged a 19-year-old Sharon man with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two customers alleged he threatened them with a pocketknife during a fight, and police found a suspected marijuana pipe.

Criminal mischief: A man in the 200 block of Mansell Drive reported someone threw eggs at his residence.

Theft: A Rebecca Avenue man reported his neighbor's children took various items from the neighbor's residence.

Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Cyrus Avenue reported her daughter's 24-inch bicycle stolen from their garage.

Fraud: An employee at Hubbard Gas & amp; Mini Mart, 175 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, reported someone cashed some personal checks without authorization.
