As a stress reliever from job, patrolman digs gardening

At left and above, Ronnie Jones of Youngstown plants cabbage in his garden at the Jubilee Gardens Brier Hill site on Lafayette Avenue, on the city's North Side. Jones, who is a city police patrolman, has had a garden on the site for about 20 years and says he finds gardening a great stress reliever. A wet spring delayed planting for Jones and many other area gardeners until recently. Besides cabbage, Jones also planted tomatoes. The Brier Hill site is one of five Jubilee Garden areas in the area administered by Second Harvest Foodbank of the Mahoning Valley.
