Domestic violence: Police arrested a 22-year-old Boardman woman on a domestic-violence charge after a family member reported being a victim.

Criminal damage: A man discovered $100 worth of lawn damage to his yard in the 400 block of Ewing Road.
Theft: A Poland woman discovered $46,000 worth of miscellaneous diamond rings stolen from a locker at Astre Total Fitness and Rehabilitation Center, 374 Boardman-Poland Road.

Burglary: A man in the 6700 block of West Boulevard reported a burglary at his residence and $175, a leather purse, leather wallet and a pair of earrings taken.
Theft: Police charged a 36-year-old Poland man with theft after two cans of chewing tobacco were taken from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A man reported about 100 compact discs missing from his vehicle parked in the 800 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: After a traffic stop, police charged an 18-year-old Poland man with felony trafficking in drugs. Police found a bag containing about 112 grams of suspected marijuana.
Theft: A Boardman man reported his front license plate and bracket missing from his car.
Theft: A man reported his wallet stolen from his vehicle after he ate at Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Theft: Police charged a 16-year-old Canfield boy with theft after a brown wallet was taken from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road. Police also cited him on a charge of a juvenile in possession of tobacco.
Arrest: Police charged an 18-year-old Boardman man with misuse of credit cards after a North Lima woman reported several credit cards removed from her vehicle parked at Astre Fitness Center.
Domestic violence: Police charged a 15-year-old Boardman boy with domestic violence after a family member in the 4600 block of South Avenue reported being a victim.
Assault: A Youngstown woman reported her daughter, 13, was assaulted in the Wal-Mart lobby area.
Arrest: After acting on a search warrant at a residence in the 60 block of Meadowbrook Avenue, police arrested a 27-year-old man on charges of possession of drugs (crack cocaine), permitting drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
June 25
Theft: A woman reported her wallet stolen while she shopped at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: Police charged a 19-year-old Struthers woman with theft after four bottles of men's cologne were stolen from Kohl's.
Assault: Police charged a 34-year-old Poland man with assault after a man in the 7700 block of Crimson Trail reported being grabbed in the chest while in his garage. The man had redness and scratches.
Theft: A man reported $20 and 120 CDs stolen from his car's glove compartment in the 300 block of Mathews Road.
Theft: A Wal-Mart employee reported a customer left without paying for tire service.
Vehicle theft: A 1995 United trailer was stolen from behind a building in the 1400 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A stone angel lawn decoration was removed from a back yard in the 40 block of Charles Avenue.
Arrests: Police arrested three people, ages 39, 26 and 23, at their Crestline Place residence on charges of trafficking in drugs and cultivating marijuana, and two also were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers alleged finding 85 suspected marijuana plants and suspected marijuana packaged for sale inside the home.
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman woman on six counts of theft and one count of misuse of credit cards after a North Lima woman reported various credit cards stolen from her vehicle parked at Astre Fitness Center.
June 26
Arrests: After investigating a loud party at a residence in the 100 block of Aylesboro Avenue, police arrested a Struthers man, 21, and a Boardman man, 20. The Struthers man was charged with permitting underage drinking; the other man was charged with permitting underage drinking, drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Burglary: A man in the 10 block of Homestead Drive reported his apartment burglarized and a microwave oven, a 24-inch TV, a DVD/videocassette recorder device, a semiautomatic rifle and a pistol stolen.
Arrest: Police arrested a 46-year-old Boardman man and charged him with violating a civil protection order.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's windshield was broken while parked in a driveway in the 5100 block of Hopkins Road.
Assault: A woman reported her daughter was assaulted while near a swimming pool at their residence in the 400 block of Annawan Lane.
Arrest: Police arrested a 36-year-old Boardman man on a warrant charging him with passing bad checks after an altered check was presented at Seven Seventeen Credit Union.
Vandalism: A man in the 1700 block of Basil Avenue reported someone threw eggs at his residence.

Breaking and entering: A man in the 20 block of Crestline Place discovered his residence forcibly entered and an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar and $175 stolen.
Counterfeit: An employee at Cellular One, 1201 Doral Drive, reported a man used a counterfeit $50 bill to pay for phone service.
Burglary: A man in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported his apartment burglarized and a gold bracelet, a gold ring and 94 quarters taken.
Assault: A Struthers woman reported being assaulted while in the Mathews Square Plaza parking lot, 6151 South Ave.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet and $80 stolen from a shopping cart at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 1900 block of Boardman-Poland Road reported being threatened, and alleged the woman did $200 in damage to the victim's apartment door.
Vandalism: A vehicle's passenger-side window was broken in the 6600 block of Lockwood Boulevard.
Theft: A woman reported witnessing the theft on an undetermined amount of groceries at Sparkle Market, 6315 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested a 51-year-old Warren woman on a theft charge after six women's suits were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. She also was wanted on a warrant charging her with contempt of court.
Theft: A 20-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after various undergarments were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Arrest: After responding to an argument near Hillman Way and Prestwick Drive, police charged a 17-year-old Youngstown girl with obstructing official business. Officers say she provided false information.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 20, was charged with theft after a pair of pants, a pair of jeans and two shirts were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a 19-year-old Appleridge Circle man on charges of misrepresentation by a person under 21, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.
Arrest: After alleging a narcotics transaction took place in the Big Lots parking lot, 7110 South Ave., police arrested a 25-year-old New Middletown man on charges of attempted possession of a Schedule 2 drug, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence. Officers say he fled on foot and struggled with them, and that he ingested a pill.

June 18
Drugs: Police issued an 18-year-old Poland man a minor misdemeanor citation on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug-abuse instruments after police found suspected marijuana in a pack of cigarettes he had behind the McKinley Elementary School, 7 Elm St.
June 25
Theft: A James Street man reported a cellular phone, a backpack, a portable CD player with eight to 10 CDs, a set of headphones, a white satchel with various papers, and a leather journal missing from his vehicle parked in the 60 block of Hamilton Street.
June 26
Drugs: While on bike patrol, police arrested a 17-year-old Poland boy near the Poland Municipal Forest on College Street. Police allege they found a bag containing suspected marijuana in his possession.
