TORONTO -- Tomo Ohka pitched a two-hitter and Ron Calloway drove in four runs for Montreal. Ohka (7-7) didn't allow a hit until Carlos Delgado's RBI double with two outs in the seventh. He struck out four and walked none in his first complete game this season. Mike Bordick hit an RBI single in the eighth for Toronto's only other hit. Both Blue Jays runs were unearned. Kelvim Escobar (5-5) loaded the bases in the second inning before Calloway hit a two-run single. Jose Vidro added a solo homer for Montreal.
Angels 3, Dodgers 1
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Aaron Sele scattered four hits over five shutout innings and Darin Erstad hit a two-run single as Anaheim beat Los Angeles to sweep the Freeway Series. The slumping Dodgers lost for the sixth time in seven games. They scored just two runs in the three losses at Anaheim. The Angels, who won the season series 4-2, scored three runs in the second inning off Odalis Perez (5-6). Sele (4-6) ran his career record against the Dodgers to 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA in five starts. Scot Shields pitched two hitless innings, and Troy Percival gave up a homer to Mike Kinkade in the ninth before finishing for his 16th save in 17 chances and third in a row against Los Angeles.
Diamondbacks 5, Tigers 3, 10 innings
DETROIT -- Robby Hammock's two-run homer in the 10th inning lifted Arizona to a victory over Detroit, extending its franchise-record winning streak to 11 games. Hammock also had an RBI single and Steve Finley homered for the Diamondbacks, who sent Detroit to its ninth straight loss and 21st in 23 games. The Tigers (18-61) are the first team in baseball history to lose 60 games before July 1, according to the Elias Sports Bureau, baseball's statistician. The 1996 Tigers came closest previously, losing their 60th game on July 2. That team finished 53-109. Eddie Oropesa (2-1) got the win with two innings of shutout relief and Jose Valverde pitched a perfect 10th for his ninth save in nine tries.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Russ Ortiz pitched three-hit ball into the eighth inning and Andruw Jones broke a scoreless tie with an RBI single in the sixth, leading Atlanta over Tampa Bay. Ortiz (10-4) struck out four and walked two in 72/3 innings. John Smoltz got four outs to finish the three-hitter and earn his 29th save in 31 opportunities. Jones put the Braves up 1-0 with an RBI single off Jorge Sosa (1-6). Javy Lopez added an RBI single in the ninth. The Devil Rays finished 5-21 in June, the most losses in a month for Lou Piniella in his 17-year managerial career. The 21 losses also set a team record for a month. Tampa Bay went 3-15 in interleague play, establishing a major league mark for the most defeats.
Phillies 4, Orioles 3
BALTIMORE -- Jose Mesa became Philadelphia's career saves leader, cementing a victory over Baltimore to cap a three-game sweep. Mesa got three outs for his 17th save of the season and 104th with Philadelphia since joining the team in November 2000. He broke the mark held by Steve Bedrosian, who had 103 saves from 1986-89. It was the first save since June 9 for Mesa. Jim Thome hit his second homer in two games to help the Phillies to their season-high fifth straight win. Kevin Millwood (9-6) allowed three runs and eight hits in 72/3 innings to snap a three-game skid. Rick Helling (5-6) gave up four runs, seven hits and four walks in six innings.
Cardinals 13, Royals 6
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Albert Pujols hit two solo homers and drove in three runs for St. Louis. Pujols went 4-for-6, raising his major league-leading average to .391. Both of his home runs came off Chris George (9-5), who gave up 10 runs on 11 hits in 51/3 innings. Jim Edmonds also drove in three runs for the Cardinals, who wore vintage uniforms of the 1928 St. Louis Stars on Negro Leagues Day at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals wore uniforms of the 1924 Kansas City Monarchs. Brett Tomko (4-5) went seven innings for the win.
Rangers 8, Astros 5
HOUSTON -- Rafael Palmeiro connected for his 509th career home run and Alex Rodriguez hit a tiebreaking, two-run triple for Texas. Palmeiro's leadoff homer in the seventh tied it at 3, tying him with Sammy Sosa for 17th on the career list. In the eighth, Rodriguez tripled off Octavio Dotel (6-3) over center fielder Craig Biggio's head. Rosman Garcia (1-0) pitched a perfect seventh for his first major league victory. Ugueth Urbina got one out for his 21st save in 25 chances.
Red Sox 11, Marlins 7
BOSTON -- Gabe Kapler had two homers and four RBIs, and Todd Walker also hit two home runs for Boston. Trot Nixon and Jason Varitek added solo shots for the Red Sox, who finished their homestand 6-1. Derek Lowe (9-3) matched a career high by winning his sixth straight decision. Brad Penny (6-6) gave up nine runs and nine hits in five innings.
Twins 5, Brewers 4, 10 innings
MINNEAPOLIS -- Luis Rivas scored from second base on Cristian Guzman's infield single with two outs in the 10th inning, giving Minnesota a come-from-behind victory over Milwaukee. Rivas singled with one out off closer Mike DeJean (2-5) and stole second. Guzman then hit a chopper to Richie Sexson and beat the first baseman's flip to DeJean covering. Rivas slid home safely. LaTroy Hawkins (5-2) pitched a scoreless inning for the Twins, who moved into a first-place tie with Kansas City in the AL Central. Minnesota rallied for two runs in the ninth off DeJean on pinch-hitter Justin Morneau's RBI single and Doug Mientkiewicz's sacrifice fly.
Padres 8, Mariners 6
SEATTLE -- Rondell White tied it with a one-out grand slam and pinch-hitter Keith Lockhart hit a go-ahead, two-run single in the ninth inning as San Diego rallied. Mark Loretta hit four singles for the Padres, who won two of three against the Mariners for the second time in two weeks. White hit a game-winning grand slam off Seattle's Jeff Nelson on June 20. Rod Beck (1-1) pitched 12/3 innings for the win. Jay Witasick got his second save. The Mariners led 6-2 going into the ninth, poised to close out Freddy Garcia's career-high seventh straight victory. Mike Cameron hit a three-run homer for Seattle. Arthur Rhodes (1-1), who hadn't allowed a run in 16 innings, failed to retire any of the five batters he faced in the ninth.
