BASEBALL
Girard Baseball Association -- will have registration Feb. 8, 15, 22 and March 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Girard Free Library. Fees are as follows: Tee Ball (5-7 boys and 5-8 girls), $25; girls fast-pitch (13-14, 15-18), $40; girls slow pitch (9-12 and 13-18), $30; pitching machine league (7-8), 25; Bambino (9-10), $40; Little League (11-12), $50; Pony League (13-14), $70, and Colt League (15-17), $70. All families will be required to purchase $20 worth of raffle tickets at the time of sign ups. Multi-family discounts include $5 off for two children and 20 percent off for three children or more. Discounts are excluded in girls slow pitch. Tryouts are March 15 at the city gym: pitching machine league, 10 a.m. to noon; Bambino, 12:30-2:30 p.m., and Little League, 3-5 p.m. Girls softball, Pony and Colt players will be called.
