Washam leads Saint Vincent past AMC-rival Geneva in OT



BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Sophomore Dartona Washam scored 35 points to help St. Vincent College get past Geneva 91-84 in overtime Tuesday.
St. Vincent (11-1, 2-0 American Mideast Conference North Division) out scored Geneva (7-8, 1-1) 14-7 in the extra session after Tornadoes freshman Chad Mraz tied the game with a lay-up just before the buzzer.
Stefan Grundberg scored 20 points for Geneva.
Westminster 69, La Roche 56
PITTSBURGH -- Greg Foster shot 11-for-17 and scored 30 points and pulled in 17 rebounds for the Titans (5-6).
Mark DeMonaco led La Roche with 13 points.
Women
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Morgan Foley scored 15 points and Cassandra Cutts added 13 more as St. Francis College defeated Geneva 63-49.
St. Francis is 9-7 overall and 3-0 in the American Mideast Conference North.
Renee Freeman and Ali Cananzi evenly split 30 points for Geneva (7-8, 0-4).
Geneva has lost six straight.

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Junior forward Amanda Swanson finished with 30 points, seven steals and six assists for the Tomcats (6-6).
Johnetta Owens scored 18 points for La Roche.
