Kieffers mark 50th at family gathering

XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kieffer of 509 Westgate Blvd. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 10 during a family gathering at their home.
The former Wilma Stricklin and Mr. Kieffer exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony Jan. 10, 1953, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
Mr. and Mrs. Kieffer are members of Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Kieffer is a homemaker and member of the Cleveland Browns Backers.
Retiring in 1987, Mr. Kieffer was a driver for Wonder Bread and Hostess Bakery, Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Air Force and is a member of Ohio State Football Fan Club.
They have four sons, Dave Kieffer of Boardman, Rick Kieffer of Millheim, Pa., Jeff Kieffer of Columbus and Mark Kieffer of Poland. Nine grandchildren complete the family circle.
