Dr. Celebrezze grew up in Boardman, where her father, John, operates Homestead Restoration. Her mother, Cindy, is a former art teacher for Poland schools.
FAMILY
Husband, Dr. James, formerly of Broadview Heights and a graduate of Youngstown State University, works at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he specializes in colon and rectal surgery. The couple has three children: Halle, 5; Nina, 2; and Jimmy, 1.
EDUCATION
Graduated from Boardman High in 1986, where she was a member of the cross country team and played violin in the orchestra. She graduated in 1992 from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine/Kent State University; completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Summa Health System in Akron; and did a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS
She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board eligible in maternal fetal medicine.
OTHER INTERESTS
Exercise and reading. She said she doesn't have time to run.
