Jeren-Slack engagement is revealed

XPOLAND -- Atty. John A. Jr. and Marjorie Jeren, 8199 Burgess Lake Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Christine Alicia Jeren, 502 S. Fremont Ave., Tampa, Fla., to Stuart Lansden Slack, 2103 W. DeLeon St., Tampa. Mr. Slack is a son of Frank L. and Jean Slack, 112 Walnut Circle, Bristol, Tenn.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at Davis Island Baptist Church in Tampa, and a reception by invitation will follow at Tampa Yacht & amp; Country Club.
Miss Jeren is a graduate of Malone College in Canton with a bachelor's degree in social studies. She teaches American history at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa.
Her fiance graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is regional vice president of Heritage Family of Funds in St. Petersburg, Fla.
