XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Carla Ann Kollar of Youngstown and Robert Michael Poghen of Canfield took place at 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where a reception was held immediately afterward.
After a honeymoon to Naples, Fla., the couple live in Canfield.
The bride is a daughter of Patricia Kollar of Youngstown and the late Albert Kollar.
Barbara Poghen of Youngstown and Robert Poghen of Austintown are parents of the groom. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in finance and is self-employed.
The bride's strapless ivory silk gown was enhanced with beaded Venise lace and braiding on the empire bodice. The A-line skirt flowed into a chapel train and her fingertip veil was gathered to a crystal tiara.
Mocha-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kellie Bindas of Canfield, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Fabry of Austintown and Rose Barkett of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Samantha Patrone of Youngstown.
Jimmy Poghen served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Joe Chahine and Todd Yuleich, both of Boardman. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Noah Stephens of Girard.
