BANKING
BOARDMAN -- Richard Horvath, a registered representative licensed financial investment advisor, has joined the First Place bank staff. Horvath will be based at the Boardman office and will be offering investment advisory services to all the bank's Mahoning County locations. He has more than six years' experience in investment services, coming from the Warren-based Second National Bank Investment Center.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Kristine Waldern-Hodge, Director of Community Support Services, began a new position at the Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in January.
She came to the MRDD board from Columbiana County, where she served as Habilitation Manager in Adult Services for that county's board of MRDD for two years .
Hodge has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a master's degree in education, both from Youngstown State University. She is a Licensed Social Worker with the State of Ohio and lives in Columbiana.
TELEMARKETING
NEW CASTLE -- InfoCision Management Corp. has hired Chris McKendry as program supervisor in its New Castle financial services call center. The Boardman resident earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Youngstown State University and worked as a sales representative for Dillard's before joining InfoCision.
