Improved MRI system
Improved MRI system
WARREN -- Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital has installed a new magnetic resonance imaging system that provides physicians with faster access to higher quality diagnostic information from virtually every part of the body. The new Signa EXCITE from GE Medical Systems is considered the most significant breakthrough in MRI technology in more than a decade, Nancy James, director of Medical Imaging at TMH, said. With its ability to collect and process more data than a conventional MRI scanner, Signa EXCITE reduces the length of MRI exams for patients and improves the quality of the images that the physician receives.
