Television: USA (Thursday-Friday, 3-6 p.m.) and CBS (Saturday-Sunday, 3-6 p.m.).
Last year: Spain's Jose Maria Olazabal won his sixth PGA Tour title, finishing with a 65 to beat J.L. Lewis by a stroke. Lewis three-putted the 18th hole for a bogey.
Last week: Davis Love III won the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am for the second time in three years, closing with a 68 to hold off Tom Lehman by a stroke.
Notes: Tiger Woods is returning to play two months after arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. The Buick endorser grew up in Cypress, 80 miles north of Torrey Pines. He won the 1999 tournament. ... Phil Mickelson won his hometown event in 1993, 2000 and 2001. After opening the season with consecutive top-10 finishes in Scottsdale and La Quinta, he shot an 80 Sunday at Pebble Beach to finish last among the 64 final-round qualifiers -- 22 strokes behind Love.

Purse: $1.6 million. Winner's share: $240,000.
Television: The Golf Channel (Friday-Sunday, 1:30-4 p.m., 8-10:30 p.m.).
Last year: Hale Irwin won the first of four 2002 titles, taking advantage of Tom Watson's 17th-hole bogey for a one-stroke victory.
Last week: Dave Barr became the first Canadian winner in Champions Tour history, birdieing the final four holes for a one-stroke victory in the Royal Caribbean Classic.
Notes: Irwin won his third money title last year at a record age of 57, finishing with $3,028,304. He has a tour-record 36 victories, including the 1997 tournament at Bay Colony. ... Jack Nicklaus is making his third start of the year. He and son Jack II designed the TwinEagles course. ... Barr won in his ninth senior start. He won twice on the PGA Tour. ... NBC analyst Gary Koch tied for 17th last week in his senior debut.
