The Pittsburgh Symphony will perform "Beethoven's Mighty Fifth" at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle. G & uuml;nther Herbig is the conductor.
Cynthia Koledo DeAlmeida, the symphony's principal oboe player, will play Mozart's "Oboe Concerto" and Kurt Weill will play music from "The Threepenny Opera."
