GIRLS BASKETBALL Deville's all-around game guides Leetonia past J-M



LEETONIA -- Jessica Deville had 25 points, 15 rebounds and five steals Saturday to lead the Leetonia High girls basketball team to a 52-27 non-conference victory over Jackson-Milton.
The Bears (4-3) took a 21-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
Alison Summers had nine points and nine rebounds for Leetonia, while Malorie Valentine added eight points and seven rebounds. Amy McCluskey chipped in with four points and six steals.
For Jackson-Milton (4-3), Kay Bruss and Allison Chepke each contributed six points.
West Branch 53, Louisville 19
BELOIT -- Evelyn Woods scored 17 points and Tori Arndt added 12 as the West Branch High girls basketball team defeated Louisville in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference game.
A 19-point second quarter put the Warriors (7-0) into a 35-7 lead at the break.
Woods had eight rebounds and Arndt pulled in six.
Louisville is 4-4.
Harding 51, Madison 32
MADISON -- Janine McDonald scored seven baskets for 14 points to lead Harding (3-2).
Desirae Jenkins added 10 points and four assists, while Labrea Crawford tacked on eight points and 11 rebounds.
