CHICAGO -- Jamal Crawford made five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 42 points for Chicago.
Coming off a 30-point performance at Cleveland on Friday, Crawford outdid himself. He was 16-for-27 from the floor and 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Prior to Friday, Crawford shot just 14-for-54 in the previous three games.
Chicago started to pull away late in the third quarter, using a 12-2 run to turn a 61-60 deficit into a nine-point lead. Crawford scored nine of Chicago's 12 points.
Crawford hit a jumper to give the Bulls a 71-63 lead at the end of the third quarter, then extended Chicago's lead with a 3-pointer to make it 82-64.
Larry Hughes had 22 points for Washington and Etan Thomas added 10.
Washington has dropped four straight and 12 of 15.
Crawford scored 18 first-half points for the Bulls. He hit his first four shots and was 3-for-3 from 3-point range in the first half.
Mavericks 104, Grizzlies 98
DALLAS -- Michael Finley scored 24 points, including a key 3-pointer and another long jumper in the closing minutes, and Dirk Nowitzki had 18 points and 17 rebounds to lead Dallas.
The Grizzlies got a scare when 70-year-old coach Hubie Brown needed medical attention during a timeout with 4:51 left. He recovered quickly and remained on the bench the rest of the game.
Coming off a Christmas victory at Sacramento, the Mavs avenged a loss at Memphis earlier this season.
The Grizzlies have lost five straight, adding to what already was their longest skid this season.
Dallas opened the game by making 10 of 11 shots and quickly led by 17. Then Memphis took advantage of the Mavericks' weakness inside and used a 30-10 run to go ahead by three late in the second quarter. The Grizzlies were only able to hold the lead for less than three minutes.
Nets 82, Pacers 75
INDIANAPOLIS -- Jason Kidd's 56th career triple-double came one night after his 55th.
Kidd had 16 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds for his NBA-leading sixth triple-double of the season, and the New Jersey Nets withstood a fourth-quarter rally to defeat Indiana.
Kenyon Martin added 23 points and 13 rebounds for the surging Nets, who won for the ninth time in 11 games.
Kidd had 24 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in Friday night's win over Detroit.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, this was the third time Kidd had triple-doubles on consecutive nights. He also did it Dec. 17-18, 1999, and Jan. 12-13, 1996.
The Eastern Conference-leading Pacers looked disinterested for three-and-a-half quarters and lost their second game in a row for the first time this season. Ron Artest was benched for the second half after an argument with coach Rick Carlisle, who was later ejected.
The Nets led 75-59 with under six minutes to play, but the Pacers went on a 13-0 run to close the gap to three points on Al Harrington's layup.
The sellout crowd erupted when Reggie Miller hit a 3-pointer with 1:01 to play that made it 77-75. But Richard Jefferson responded with a jumper and Kidd added three free throws and a timely steal from Miller to seal the win.
Jefferson added 20 points and six rebounds for New Jersey.
Harrington led Indiana with 22 points, and Jermaine O'Neal and Austin Croshere each had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Indiana shot 39 percent from the field in the first half and turned the ball over 11 times to fall behind 42-36. Jefferson wasn't slowed by Ron Artest, one of the best defenders in the league, getting to the basket with ease for dunks and layups.
The Nets used a 10-0 run in the third quarter to take control. Martin hit a jumper, Kerry Kittles had a breakaway slam and Jefferson added two jump shots for a 55-45 lead.
Carlisle became infuriated when referee Scott Wall called O'Neal for a foul on Kidd with 3:54 to play in the quarter. He crossed the halfcourt line and berated Wall with profanity as Croshere restrained him, prompting the official to eject him.
