Despite ranking fourth in NFC with 1,351 yards rushing (90.1 yards per game) and scoring 13 TDs rushing -- tied for best in NFC -- Alexander did not make Pro Bowl. Still, he has seven 100-yard rushing games and is a consistent threat. Peterson was voted to NFC Pro Bowl team, and is second on team in tackles and leads 49ers with seven sacks.Streaks, statistics and notes: Seahawks can clinch playoff berth for first time since 1999 with win and loss or tie by Packers (vs. Broncos) or Vikings (at Cardinals). ... Redskins lost to Bears 27-24.Key match-up: Eagles CB Troy Vincent vs. Redskins WR Laveranues Coles. Coles, one of several Redskins signed from Jets in off-season, has been very productive acquisition. He ranks fifth in NFC with 1,117 yards receiving and has six TDs. He has 20 receptions of 20 or more yards, which puts him in top four in conference. Vincent, a five-time all-star, was chosen for NFC Pro Bowl team. He leads team with three INTs, and is among top cover cornerbacks in league.
Streaks, statistics and notes: Eagles have clinched playoff berth. They can clinch division title and first-round bye with win or tie. If Eagles win and Rams lose at Detroit, Philadelphia gets home-field advantage throughout playoffs. ... Last week, Washington OLB LaVar Arrington was selected for his third Pro Bowl, and CB Champ Bailey was chosen for his fourth. Eagles QB Donovan McNabb was chosen for fourth-straight Pro Bowl.
