Poetry readings planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Pig Iron Poets will read traditional and original poetry for First Night Youngstown on Wednesday. The readings are scheduled for 8, 9 and 10 p.m., and each presentation will last 40 minutes. The readings will be held at Pig Iron Press, 26 North Phelps Street, downtown Youngstown.
The Pig Iron Poets are a performing troupe of poetry presenters and performers featuring original poetry and classic creative works. The group was founded in 1971 by Jim Villani.
