No. 10 Missouri won, but No. 17 Purdue didn't.

ATLANTA -- B.J. Elder scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half and No. 5 Georgia Tech beat St. John's 79-66 Sunday, spoiling the debut of interim coach Kevin Clark.
Mike Jarvis was fired Friday, only six games into his sixth season. St. John's (2-5) lost four of its first five games, which hadn't happened since 1922-23.
The Yellow Jackets (10-0) continued their best start since 1985-86, the last season they were ranked in the top five. They held St. John's to 40 percent shooting and forced 14 turnovers.
Elijah Ingram scored 21 points for the Red Storm.
Nevada 75, No. 6 Kansas 61
RENO, Nev. -- Kirk Snyder had 29 points and nine rebounds and Nevada used sharp foul shooting down the stretch to upset Kansas at the Wolf Pack Holiday Classic.
Nevada made 19 of 21 free throws over the final 10 minutes to hold off the Jayhawks. Todd Okeson had 12 points and Kevinn Pinkney added 10 for the Wolf Pack (5-3), who were mobbed by more than 100 students who charged the floor at the buzzer before the sixth largest crowd in school history, 10,983.
Keith Langford and Aaron Miles each had 11 points for Kansas (6-2).
No. 10 Missouri 106, N.C.-Greensboro 98
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Jason Conley, a transfer playing in his first game for Missouri, and Arthur Johnson each scored 19 points to lead the Tigers.
Rickey Paulding hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key to ignite an 11-0 run that gave Missouri (4-1) a 92-76 lead with under seven minutes to play.
Jay Joseph and Ronnie Burrell each had 22 points for the Spartans (4-5).
SMU 60, No. 17 Purdue 59
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Bryan Hopkins scored on a driving layup with 24 seconds left to lift Southern Methodist to the win in the championship game of the Boilermaker Invitational.
Purdue's Kenneth Lowe, the tournament MVP, had two chances to win the game, but Justin Isham rebounded his miss on the following possession and then Lowe missed a coast-to-coast drive as time ran out.
Hopkins finished with four points on 2-of-8 shooting for SMU (5-3), while Kris Lowe had 16 points and eight rebounds.
Kenneth Lowe scored 14 of his 19 points in the second half.
