Man faces drug abuse and weapon charges

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Stiles Avenue man was arrested on charges of drug abuse-crack cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon after a traffic stop.
According to reports, Delainey Wellington, 21, was stopped after police said he failed to signal a turn around 10:50 p.m. Friday on Lansdowne Avenue.
While being questioned by police, Wellington repeatedly tried to lower his hands to his jacket pockets, police said.
Police handcuffed Wellington and conducted a search, locating two baggies with suspected crack cocaine in his front jacket pocket and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun under the passenger's seat of his vehicle.
