The Golden Flashes suffered their second loss of the season, 58-54.

BOSTON -- Craig Smith scored four of his 14 points in overtime Saturday afternoon to lead Boston College to a 58-54 win over Kent State.
Jared Dudley, who nailed a 3-pointer to put BC ahead for good with 3 1/2 minutes left in OT, added 12 points for the Eagles (8-1).
DeAndre Haynes hit a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left in regulation to send the game to OT. He led the Golden Flashes (5-2) with 13 points. Clif Brown added 11 points for Kent State, which outrebounded BC 53-34.
Dudley's 3-pointer from the right corner with 3:38 left in overtime put BC ahead 52-51.
Smith then nailed a turnaround jumper and Agbai's 3-point play gave the Eagles a 57-51 lead with 46.1 seconds left.
After Agbai missed two free throws, he redeemed himself by blocking Bryan Bedford's attempted 3-pointer with 20 seconds left.
Smith was fouled after grabbing the rebound and sealed it by hitting the second of two free throws with 17.6 seconds left.
Smith's two free throws with 30 seconds left in regulation gave the Eagles a 49-46 lead before Haynes went around a screen and nailed his shot from the right side.
Devon Evertsen's halfcourt shot fell short as the horn sounded, sending the game to OT.
Neither team held more than a four-point lead in the game until Agbai's 3-point play in overtime.
Kent State, which outrebounded the Eagles 28-14 in the first half, led 29-25 at halftime.
It was just the second meeting ever between the schools. Kent State beat BC 86-83 in OT last Dec. 28.
SMU 66, Miami, Ohio 55
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Bryan Hopkins scored a career-high 35 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead SMU to a 66-55 win over Miami of Ohio in the first round of the Boilermaker Invitational at Mackey Arena on Saturday.
The Mustangs (4-3) made 53 percent of their 3-pointers, including 9 of 12 in the second half, to overwhelm Miami.
Massachusetts 83, Marshall 65
AMHERST, Mass. -- Maurice Maxwell scored 19 points, leading Massachusetts to an 83-65 victory over Marshall on Saturday.
Rashaun Freeman added 18 points and 10 rebounds and Anthony Anderson scored 17 for UMass (3-4).
David Anderson, with 11 points, was the only Marshall player in double figures.
Toledo 93, DePaul 81
ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Keith Triplett scored 29 points in the second half to lead Toledo to a 93-81 victory over DePaul on Saturday.
Toledo (6-1) was up 72-70 with 4:54 remaining when the Rockets went on a 13-3 run keyed by Triplett's 3-pointer and three free throws to take a 85-73 lead with 1:56 to go.
Florentino Valencias, a Chicago native, had 14 points for Toledo on 7-of-7 shooting.
