Scouting report: The Penguins fell apart in the final eight minutes of Thursday's 69-59 loss to Wright State in the opening game of Horizon League play at home. The Penguins went over seven minutes in the final eight without scoring a field goal. It was the Penguins first loss at home. Oakland is coming into the game on a three game win streak beating Saginaw Valley 105-78 last Tuesday. The Grizzlies have played two other Horizon League teams beating league favorite Illinois-Chicago 79-66 and losing to Detroit 76-69. They also lost to Michigan 84-58.
Series: This will be the eighth meeting all time with Oakland and the Grizzlies hold a 4-3 lead. Last year YSU dropped a 75-70 decision in Michigan and won the previous meeting at home in 2001 88-84.
