The Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance has awarded memorial scholarships to senior physical education major David Fielding of Brookfield and exercise science major Renee Rogers of Boardman.
BETHANY COLLEGE, Bethany, W.Va.
Junior social work major Mary Wheeler of Cortland performed with the College Wind Ensemble during Bethany's winter concert that featured scripture readings and popular holiday selections as presented by groups within the Department of Fine Arts.
She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Wheeler.
WESTMINSTER COLLEGE, New Wilmington, Pa.
Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society for juniors and seniors, recently inducted 41 Westminster College students who are in the top 35 percent of their class and have demonstrated exemplary character, responsible leadership, service in campus live, superior scholarship, genuine fellowship and consecration to democratic ideals.
Among those inducted were: junior biology major Katie McKissick of New Castle, Pa., daughter of Jeffrey and Brenda McKissick and a graduate of Laurel High School; senior English major Amy Changoway of Edinburg, Pa., daughter of William and Eileen Changoway and a graduate of Mohawk Area High School; senior psychology major Heidi Haski of Edinburg, Pa., daughter of Martin and Candace Haski and a graduate of Mohawk Area High School; senior public relations major Sara Ialongo of Ellwood City, Pa., daughter of David and Lydia Ialongo and a graduate of Lincoln High School; junior biology major Jessica Garrison of New Wilmington, Pa., daughter of Roman and Evann Garrison and a graduate of Wilmington Area High School; junior elementary education major Bethany Huey of New Wilmington, Pa., daughter of Darwin and Sarah Huey and a graduate of Wilmington Area High; public relations major Merrianne McGill of Volant, Pa.; and junior elementary education major Maegan Martuccio of Hermitage, Pa., daughter of Gene and Cheryl Martuccio and a graduate of Hickory High School.
Others inducted were: junior political science major Andrea Ceplecci of Hubbard, daughter of Terry and Brenda Ceplecci and a graduate of Hubbard High School; senior history major James Chaney of Hubbard, son of Ronald and Donna Chaney and a graduate of Hubbard High School; junior political science and public relations major Mary Huebert of North Lima, daughter of John and Melva Huebert and a graduate of South Range High School; and junior political science major Heidi Kimmel of Poland, daughter of Robert and Bonnie Kimmel and a graduate of Poland Seminary High School.
