Fire in trailer park
GIRARD -- The cause of a fire that destroyed a trailer in Paul's Trailer Park Friday evening is under investigation, authorities said.
Damage was estimated at $10,000 to $15,000 to the trailer and its contents in the 6:08 p.m. blaze at 48 Frances Ave.
The occupant hadn't been in the trailer for five months, the park manager told firefighters. There were no injuries.
The trailer was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Skirting on two adjacent trailers, one of them vacant, melted in the blaze, the fire department said.
