Brookfield man indicted in death

WARREN -- A 22-year-old Brookfield man is expected to appear in common pleas court today to face an aggravated murder charge.
A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Craig R. Kroner of Warner Road on the charge Thursday. The charge states that Kroner is accused of killing Charles Palm, 26, of Greenville, Pa.
Palm was found dead Oct. 10. His body was found in the Shenango Wildlife area of Vernon Township.
Kroner is in the Trumbull County jail on a charge of tampering with evidence in Palm's death.
Investigators searched Kroner's home and another house on Milligan East Road in Vernon Township last month. The warrant has been sealed so what was found at the home has not been revealed, court officials said.
Another man, Bruce Coxson, 46, of Vernon Township also has been arrested on a charge of tampering with evidence in Palm's death. Coxson, who has pleaded innocent to that charge, is in the county jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
OSHP officials have said that they questioned Coxson about Palm's death.
The patrol investigates criminal activity on state-owned or leased property.
