XYOUNGSTOWN -- Stambaugh Auditorium provided the setting Nov. 15 as Stefanie Hudson and Jason Hipkins, both of Olmsted Falls, exchanged wedding vows during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed in the auditorium ballroom.
The bride is the daughter of Frederick and Bonnie Hudson of Fowler. The bride's father officiated at the service. The groom's parents are Brenda and Richard Hipkins of Asheboro, N.C.
The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise.
The bride wore an ivory and gold Renaissance-style gown designed with bell-shaped sleeves and a cathedral train.
Honor attendant was Joni Gillette, who wore a hunter-green dress. Bridesmaids, dressed in navy blue, were Jennifer Barone, the bride's sister; Heather Hipkins, the groom's sister; and Megan Morris and Kelli Morris, her cousins. Flower girl was Jaelyn Barone, her niece.
The groom's brother, Scott Hipkins, was best man. Groomsmen were Douglas Gillette, Ryan Gillette and the bride's uncle, David Bolger. Ring bearers were Caden Barone, her nephew, and Andrew Hipkins, his nephew.
Mrs. Hipkins, formerly of Fowler, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She works for the federal government in Independence.
The groom, who also graduated from YSU with a bachelor's in business administration, was originally from Hubbard. He is a staff consultant with DuCharme, McMillan and Associates, North Olmsted.
