Counts-Hymes engagement is made known

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Announcement of the engagement of Shannon Counts, 2020 Felicia Ave., and Tawana Hymes, 369 E. Ravenwood Ave., is being made by their families. The future bride is a daughter of Millicent Counts of the Felicia Avenue address and Luther Counts Jr., 127 Benton Lane. Mr. Hymes is a son of Eldridge Hymes of the Ravenwood Avenue address and the late Lana Hymes.
Miss Counts graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and health and human service. She is a teacher for the Youngstown City School District.
Her fiance attended YSU and is a relief painter with Extrusion Painting Co. in Boardman.
The couple will be married at a private ceremony they are planning for May.
