ENGINEERING
YOUNGSTOWN -- David G. Tabak Sr. has joined MS Consultants as an environmental engineer in its Youngstown office, where he will concentrate on water system improvement projects for the municipal market segment. Tabak comes to the engineering firm from the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District, where he served as chief engineer for 17 years of his 27-year tenure.
Tabak has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Youngstown State University and received his Ohio registration as a professional engineer in 1980.
MANUFACTURING
SHARPSVILLE -- Cattron-Theimeg, a manufacturer of portable industrial radio remote control systems, has appointed David Doxtater as quality director. He has more than 20 years of experience in quality management and had most recently been quality director for Veridian Systems of California, Md.
Doxtater has a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California, Northridge. He also has completed certification in Total Quality Management, as well as many other professional certifications.
COMMUNICATIONS
YOUNGSTOWN -- Gary L. Coursen is the newly appointed news director for WKBN/WYFX-TV, Youngstown's CBS/FOX affiliate. Coursen has held leadership positions at WKBN/WYFX-TV for more than 20 years.
A life-long Mahoning Valley resident, Coursen graduated from Hubbard High School in 1976 and obtained a bachelor's degree in technology from Kent State University. He lives in Hartford.
