Theft: An employee at Towne Centre Liquor-Lottery-Beverage, 816 N. State St., reported two men stole two bottles of alcohol.
Theft: An employee at Warner Enterprises, 1210 S. State St., reported a box containing 100 insulin syringes was missing from a truck.
Dec. 16
Theft: A South Market Street man alleged his son may have stolen $1,000 and a handgun from the man's residence.
Dec. 17
Truck theft: A 1993 Chevrolet 3500 pickup truck was stolen from a front parking lot at Steve's Auto Body & amp; Repair, 717 S. State St.
LIBERTY
Dec. 12
Criminal damage: A student at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, said two students, 15 and 17, tore two pockets on his leather coat at school, causing $60 in damage.
Dec. 16
Arrest: After noticing a vehicle parked in a handicapped space displaying no placard, police arrested a 31-year-old Highland Park, Mich., man on Trumbull Court on charges of drug possession (marijuana), obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Officers say he provided false information about his identity, and police say they found a suspected marijuana cigarette on the vehicle's passenger side, as well as suspected marijuana in a toolbox. He also was wanted on warrants charging him with failure to appear in court.
Criminal damage: Someone shot a hole through a double-pane window, causing $400 in damage to a residence in the 100 block of Warner Road.
Theft: A Beverly Hills Drive man reported a man, 21, made arrangements to sell the victim two subwoofers and that, after receiving $450, he failed to provide the equipment.

Theft: A man in the 600 block of Burdie Drive reported various items missing from his residence after three people staying there left.
Dec. 11
Truck theft: A 1983 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from the Bell-Wick Bowl parking lot, 6105 W. Liberty St.
Dec. 12
Criminal damage: An employee at Bell-Wick Bowl discovered someone used a BB gun to shoot holes in a door.
Theft: A woman in the 600 block of Burdie Drive reported checks stolen from her home.
Possible drugs: An employee at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported finding possible drug items in a vehicle parked at the school.
Dec. 15
Theft: A Bedford Road woman reported her son's blue and white snowboard stolen while he was at Kelly's Field on Creed Avenue.
Dec. 17
Criminal damage: Police responded to an alarm at Hubbard Gas & amp; Mini Mart, 175 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, and discovered someone used a rock to smash some glass on the front door.
