UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Alexei Yashin and Jason Blake scored 30 seconds apart in a frenetic third period to lift the New York Islanders to a stunning victory over the New Jersey Devils.
Flames 3, Flyers 2, OT
PHILADELPHIA -- Dean McAmmond scored his second goal with 1:27 left in overtime, leading Calgary over Philadelphia. The Flyers have lost two straight at home after opening the season 12-0-2 at the Wachovia Center. Jarome Iginla also scored for the Flames.
Maple Leafs 3, Lightning 0
TORONTO -- Mats Sundin and Gary Roberts each had a goal and an assist in the third period, and Ed Belfour earned his third shutout in the last six games for Toronto. Darcy Tucker added an empty-net goal for the Maple Leafs, who set a franchise record by recording a point in 12 straight games (11-0-0-1).
Capitals 5, Thrashers 0
ATLANTA -- Maxim Ouellet, appearing in his first NHL game in three seasons, made 37 saves for his first NHL shutout and Robert Lang had two goals and two assists to help Washington beat Atlanta. The win was the second in three games for new Washington head coach Glen Hanlon, who replaced the fired Bruce Cassidy last week.
Bruins 1, Canadiens 1
MONTREAL -- Brian Rolston scored for the second straight game and Andrew Raycroft made 28 saves as Boston skated to a tie with Montreal. Rolston, who had an assist and a short-handed goal in Saturday's 3-2 win in Ottawa, scored his 12th of the season in the second, tying the game just moments after Montreal opened the scoring midway through the period.
Kings 4, Oilers 2
LOS ANGELES -- Joe Corvo ended his 49-game scoring drought by netting the go-ahead goal with 4:09 remaining to lead Los Angeles Kings past Edmonton. Los Angeles' Lubomir Visnovsky snapped his own 20-game goal drought with a power-play goal against the league's worst penalty-killing unit.
Canucks 2, Predators 1, OT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Brendan Morrison scored 1:19 into overtime and Dan Cloutier made 29 saves as Vancouver beat Nashville. Morrison beat Nashville goaltender Tomas Vokoun with a backhand shot from the slot to give the Canucks the win.
