In other action Tuesday, the Youngstown Board of Education:
Authorized the superintendent and instruction department to solicit proposals for a curriculum audit next year. Approved resolutions of commendation and appreciation for Clarence Boles, Terri O'Connor-Brown, Geraldine Sullivan and Tracey Winbush, who are leaving the board at the end of this month.Passed resolutions of commendation for the Chaney High School volleyball and football teams. The volleyball team had 10 wins and one loss this season. The football team had a 9-2 regular-season record and advanced to the state regional quarterfinals.Authorized bidding for furniture and equipment for the new Taft and Harding elementary schools.
