Menswear fabrics suitable for bedding

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) -- The rich fabrics and colors of men's suits are associated with work, not sleep, but a new line of bedding inspired by menswear is designed to create a relaxing, classic look for hotel rooms.
Sheraton Hotels is overhauling its bedding with a series of duvet patterns inspired by the pinstripes and rich colors of men's suits. In addition to pinstripes in navy, white and sky blue, there is a tan, dark green and black houndstooth duvet and a burgundy duvet with off white detail.
The hotel chain will spend $75 million to put the new bedding in more than 70,000 rooms in more than 200 hotels by the end of 2004.
