F.N.B. Corp's new stock to begin trading

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- F.N.B. Corp.'s new stock began trading at $33.55 this morning on the New York Stock Exchange.
Stock in the banking and financial services company had been listed on the NASDAQ stock market under the symbol FBAN. In its final day of trading on NASDAQ Tuesday, the stock closed at $33.71. The new symbol is FNB.
F.N.B., which had been based in Naples, Fla., now will be based in Hermitage. The company's Florida operations are being separated into a new company, First National Bankshares of Florida. Its stock is to begin trading in January.
