Scouting report: The Penguins played their best game of the season in a 57-42 loss to nationally-ranked Pittsburgh. The Penguins shot poorly, but played well defensively and were successful in slowing down the tempo, which bothered the unbeaten Panthers. Tonight's game will mark the first time the Penguins open Horizon League play in December since they joined the conference. Wright State's only win came against Ball State at home. The Raiders are on a two-game losing streak.
Series: This is the 27th meeting between the teams, with Wright State holding a 20-6 advantage. Since YSU has joined the Horizon League, the series stands at 2-2, with each team winning on its home floor the past two seasons. YSU won last year at Beeghly 66-60 and lost 80-68 in Dayton.
Radio: WNIO-AM (1390).
