Book gathers biographiesof Ohio 'founding fathers'
"Ohio's Founding Fathers," by Fred J. Milligan (iUniverse, $33.95)
Westerville attorney Fred J. Milligan has written a new book on Ohio's founding fathers that includes biographies of fifty-five men who were instrumental in making Ohio a state. Included among the founders is George Tod of Mahoning County.
The author has served as general counsel for the Ohio Historical Society for more than 25 years. He wrote "Ohio's Founding Fathers" for the state's bicentennial.
"Ohio's Founding Fathers" was published in September by iUniverse and can be ordered on its Web site or at barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com. It also is available at the gift shops of the Ohio Historical Society museums or the gift shop at the State House. Proceeds from sales benefit the Ohio Historical Society.
"Ohio's Founding Fathers" is Milligan's second book. In 2001, Heritage Books published "Compassionate Revolutionaries: The Moravian Ancestors of George W. Bush."
