XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 5 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95, four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners are $8, all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni are $5, and pork chop dinners are $7.95. XCol. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $5.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
XCroatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The meals will be available with red or white sauces, and will include meatballs, salad, roll with butter and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the lodge building fund.
FRIDAY

XHoly Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers. This will be the final sale until Jan. 9.
XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005. There will be no dinner Dec. 26.
XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts by advance order only. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi. This will the last sale until Jan. 9.
XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be the final sale of the year.
XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m. There will be no sale Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. This is the final sale of the season.
XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Youngstown, will make boil-in-the-bag sweet cabbage and potato and cheese pirogi. Pickup for walk-ins will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. No advance orders are needed. There will be no sale Dec. 26.
XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi also will be available. This is the last sale of the year. Sales will resume Jan. 9.

XHouse of Prayer Church, 9874 Silica Sand Road, Garrettsville, will sponsor a free Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. The menu will feature lasagna, chicken, salad, sweet potato pie, cake, cookies and holiday punch. XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available to patrons providing their own containers.
XFowler Volunteer Fire Department will hold its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $4.50 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and children 6 to 12 and free for preschoolers.
XKinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will hold a roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets are $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12 at the door. Proceeds will benefit NESFAC local food pantry. For more information call (330) 876-4485.
