Beloit woman killedin single-car accident
GREENFORD -- A 42-year-old Beloit woman died when she lost control of her car on U.S. Route 62.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Tammy Greeneisen of Beloit-Snodes Road was traveling north on U.S. Route 62, less than a mile north of state Route 165, at 11:30 a.m. Sunday when her car went off the right side of the road.
The car went into a ditch, flipped over and crashed into a utility pole, the patrol said. The road was wet and it was snowing when the accident occurred, the patrol said.
Greeneisen was taken to Salem Community Hospital, where she died from injuries.
