CLUBS
XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 5 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church hall, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. The program will be "The Immigrant Experience: From Wales to the Mahoning Valley" with speaker Jeanne Ann Garver Macejko, who is of Welsh ancestry. John Tamblien will recite Welsh poetry, and Megan Morris will sing Welsh songs. The menu featuring roast beef and Welsh cakes will be prepared by Darlene Wells and her staff. The cost is $11 for members and $16 for nonmembers. Send reservations with checks payable to Ohio Cultural Alliance, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, Ohio 44406-0561. Reservations are due by Dec. 31.
SINGLES
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed and separated people, will meet for a holiday dance at 7 tonight at The Elm Tree in Struthers. There will be intermediate dance lessons at 7 p.m. Monday and beginner dance lessons at 7 p.m. Tuesday, both with Judy Conti at a cost of $5. A meeting is planned for 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. XGamma Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 10 at Chapters at the Austintown Library. Reservations must be made with Mary Tsimouris by Jan. 3. An executive committee meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. and reports are due. Barbara Ross, chairwoman, will be the hostess.
