U.S. free trade policy
BOARDMAN -- U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland of Lisbon, D-6th, will hold a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Operating Engineers Hall, 291 McClurg Road.
He will discuss U.S. free trade policy -- particularly the North American Free Trade Agreement, which was enacted a decade ago -- and its impact on American workers.
Strickland will be joined by community, business and labor leaders to discuss the policy.
Community caroling
GREENFORD -- Green Township will have community caroling at 5 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Greenford Community Building. Jerry Lomker will be the song leader, and the event will take place outdoors.
In case of inclement weather, it will be held indoors. Light refreshments also will be served.
