STARR BECKALAN SCHMIDT
XNEW MARKET, Va. -- Starr Lynn Beck and Alan Robert Schmidt were married in a private ceremony at 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at Endless Caverns.
The bride is a daughter of Judy Beck of Poland and Carl Beck of Pittsburgh. Mr. Schmidt is a son of Paul and Alice Schmidt of Price, Utah.
Bonnie Rimmons, marriage commissioner, officiated, and a postnuptial reception took place at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Poland.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Curacao and are residing in Washington.
Mrs. Schmidt holds a bachelor's degree from Kent State University and a master's degree in forensic sciences from George Washington University.
Her husband graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education in science. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 15 years.
The Schmidts are intelligence officers with the Department of Defense in Washington.
