Reception marks 50th anniversary of the Coffins



XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Dottie) Coffin, 477 Melbourne Ave., were guests of honor during a reception Dec. 13 at A La Carte Catering in Canfield for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were the honorees' son, James R. Coffin, and daughters, Debbie Coffin and Sue Haynes, all of Boardman.
Mr. and Mrs. Coffin were married Dec. 5, 1953, at Trinity Methodist Church in Youngstown. They are members of Bethel Lutheran Church and Colony Dance Club.
Mrs. Coffin owns Lucky Lotto of Boardman. She belongs to bridge and garden clubs.
Mr. Coffin, who also is known by the nickname "Dig," served in the U.S. Navy and is employed by Pascoe Engineering in New Castle, Pa. He is a member of Boardman Kiwanis.
The family circle includes five grandchildren.
