Parisis honored at family dinner for 60th jubilee



XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Dino Parisi of 229 S. Yorkshire Blvd. were the guests of honor Nov. 29 at a family dinner at Julia's Bed & amp; Breakfast in Hubbard on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the event were made by the couple's daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Dale Foster of Boardman and Carol and Larry Myers of Oak Hill, Va. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Parisi and the former Agnes Welsh were married Dec. 2, 1943, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1981 from J.D. Fowler Construction Co. in Youngstown, where he was an operating engineer.
His wife is a homemaker.
The Parisis are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, its altar and rosary society, seniors group and youth ministry. Mr. Parisi also belongs to the church's men's club.
The couple also are members of the Youngstown Chapter of the Model T Club, International Model T Club and Retirees of Local 66 Operating Engineers, in which Mr. Parisi holds the record for longest membership in District 2.
