TORONTO -- Chris Pronger scored 30 seconds into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a victory over Toronto on Tuesday night, ending the Maple Leafs' winning streak at eight games. After Toronto's Joe Nieuwendyk tied it with a short-handed goal with 17 seconds left in regulation, Pronger scored on the power-play with a 20-foot wrist shot from in front of the net. Mark Rycroft and Dallas Drake had second-period goals for the Blues, unbeaten in their last four games. Mats Sundin added a goal for Toronto.
Islanders 5, Lightning 2
UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Shawn Bates and Trent Hunter had a goal and two assists each, and set up Radek Martinek's go-ahead score in the third period for New York. Hunter and Bates tied it at 2 with goals 2:46 apart late in the second period, and Martinek beat Nikolai Khabibulin early in the third to give the Islanders their second straight victory. Mark Parrish and Jason Blake also scored, and Garth Snow made 29 saves. Pavel Kubina and Ruslan Fedotenko scored for Tampa Bay.
Wild 2, Flames 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Manny Fernandez made 31 saves and Andrei Zyuzin had a goal and an assist for Minnesota. Pascal Dupuis added his fifth goal of the season for the Wild, who won for just the third time in their last 10 games and sent the Flames to their first loss in their last six. Martin Gelinas, playing his 1,000th NHL game, scored for Calgary.
Hurricanes 3, Oilers 2
EDMONTON, Alberta -- Marty Murray scored twice in the first period to help Carolina snap a three-game winless streak. Radim Vrbata also scored for the Hurricanes, and Kevin Weekes made 25 stops for his eighth win of the season. Alexei Semenov and Ales Hemsky scored for Edmonton.
