Dec. 4
Theft: A Hubbard man reported a sandblasting cabinet stolen from a carport in the 800 block of West Park Avenue.
Theft: A Mount Everett Road woman reported a check stolen while she was at Reed Middle School, 150 Hall Ave.
Theft: A Rachellen Avenue woman said several items were removed from her vehicle while it was at Bell Wick Bowl, 6105 Bell Wick Road.
Dec. 7
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard woman on Jacobs Road on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.

Dec. 2
Domestic violence: A 35-year-old Hubbard man was arrested on West Liberty Street on charges of domestic violence and violation of a temporary protection order after a Youngstown woman alleged he came to her home and, during an argument, slapped her, pulled her hair, punched her in the stomach and tried to push her down a flight of stairs.
Theft: A Hubbard man reported a $1,000 tailgate stolen from his vehicle parked in the 60 block of Warner Road.

Theft: A woman reported a $500 concrete lion statue taken from her residence in the 1100 block of Church Hill Road.
Dec. 5
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1987 Olds 88 near Lucretia Drive and state Route 193. The vehicle's steering column was damaged.
Theft: A man said a gun and a digital camera were taken from his residence in the 400 block of Aurora Drive.
Arrest: After responding to a report of a suspicious person at Classic Optical Labs Inc., 3710 Belmont Ave., police arrested a 37-year-old Youngstown man on one count of contempt of court on a domestic-violence charge. He also was charged with escape after an employee at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, 500 Gypsy Lane, notified police the man had walked away from the hospital after being brought there for treatment.

Criminal damaging, theft: A Warren man said someone damaged his vehicle and removed two plastic headlight covers, two fog light covers, two windshield wiper arm assemblies and a fog light while he was at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
Dec. 7
Theft: An employee at Choice's Niteclub, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, said that after a worker quit, $52.75 was discovered missing from a cash drawer.

Breaking and entering, theft: Someone broke into a van through a vent window in the 4700 block of Belmont Avenue. Four hedge trimmers, a $400 hand blower and a $400 grass trimmer were stolen.
Robbery: An employee at Rainbow Rentals, 3620 Belmont Ave., reported a man approached him, slammed him against a wall and fled on foot while the victim made a night deposit at National City Bank, 4599 Belmont Ave.
Theft: An employee at Wendy's, 4001 Belmont Ave., reported $151 missing from her purse that was in a break room.
Theft: A man in the 400 block of Goldie Road reported a $1,000 tailgate stolen from a truck parked in his driveway.
Theft: A Florence, Ky., man reported his wallet missing at Choice's Niteclub.
Arrest: After responding to a report of an intoxicated man at an Ashland One Stop gas station, 2904 Belmont Ave., police arrested a 32-year-old Girard man on a warrant charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
Arrest: A 24-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested near Logan Way and state Route 304 on two counts of endangering children and one count of cruelty to animals.

Dec. 7
Criminal damaging: A Hancock Street woman said a man put a hole in a portion of siding to her residence after she asked him to leave and he refused.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 500 block of Joan Avenue reported damage to Christmas lights, a pine tree and a mechanical snowman device in her yard.
Vandalism: A vehicle's back window was broken in the 400 block of South Highland Avenue.
Breaking and entering, theft: A Masury woman reported her vehicle broken into and a compact-disc player, 25 CDs and a bottle of perfume taken while she was at the Willow Creek Banquet Hall, 1135 Church Hill Road.

Breaking and entering: A man in the 100 block of Trumbull Avenue reported his toolshed broken into and a rototiller missing.
