Dec. 1
Vandalism: Someone did $75 in damage to a mailbox at Jeffrey B. Fleck & amp; Associates, 845 Woodfield Court.
Theft: Police arrested a 29-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after $24.83 worth of groceries was stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A 58-year-old Berlin Center woman was charged with theft after $394 worth of clothing was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Canfield woman reported her wallet removed from a shopping cart while she was at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft, forgery: A Shields Road man reported a bank check stolen from his bedroom and forged in the amount of $350.
Drugs: An 18-year-old Poland man was arrested near Market Street and Colwyn Court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Burglary: A man in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard discovered his front door had been forced open, and an 18-inch TV and two leather coats worth a total of $500, were missing.

Attempted auto theft: Someone tried to steal a 1989 Dodge Spirit in the 4000 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Arrest: A 27-year-old Charleston, W.Va., man was arrested near Indianola Road and Market Street on a warrant charging him with possession of drug abuse instruments.
Theft: A woman in the 7800 block of Walnut Street discovered a flier missing from a mailbox. Also, a resident reported a $44 check stolen from a newspaper box.
Theft, fraud: A Youngstown man reported his debit card missing while he was at a BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, and discovered a $300 unauthorized withdrawal had been made.
Criminal mischief: A man reported his car's driver's-side door window was damaged while the vehicle was parked at Dilliard's in Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damage: Someone used a sharp object to damage the finish on a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Doral Drive.
Auto theft: A 1998 Ford Escort was stolen in the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Criminal damage: Someone did $300 in damage to a front door's upper arm at Cellular One, 1393 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 21-year-old Warren woman on a theft charge after two tops and two pairs of pants were stolen from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police charged a 16-year-old Youngstown girl with theft after a $45 sports jersey was stolen from Sports and Gifts in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A Poland woman alleged two teenage girls assaulted her daughter in the Denny's Restaurant parking lot, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Assault: A 36-year-old Boardman man reported being assaulted while he was at Salty Grog's, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road. He had injuries on the top of his head.
Recovered property: A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice was recovered in a carport in the 1800 block of Oles Avenue.
Theft: Someone stole mail from a mailbox in the 7400 block of Hitchcock Road.
Theft: A 45-year-old Youngstown man faced a theft charge after five gold bracelets, a DVD, a compact disc and a CD set were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Assault: A Youngstown man reported a man in his 50s assaulted the victim at St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave.
Theft: Someone took a $300 portable DVD player from Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd.

Theft: Someone stole a business credit card from Ohio Sports & amp; Spine Institute, 1255 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: A 38-year-old Poland man surrendered to police and was charged with domestic violence after an Argyle Avenue woman reported a family member violated a civil protection order by coming to her home without permission and threatening her.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into South Avenue Cycle Inc., 7661 South Ave.
Theft: An employee at Four Wheels, 5925 South Ave., reported two car keys and a remote device taken from a vehicle parked there.
Theft: A Columbus man reported a $150 12-volt drill and charger, a wrench, three screwdrivers and a drill bit stolen from his vehicle parked in the 7200 block of Market Street.
Auto theft: A 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from The Tire Pad parking lot, 4730 Southern Blvd.
Assault: A Boardman High School student reported being assaulted at the school.
Theft: A Chillicothe, Ohio, man reported someone made a purchase using a canceled credit card, costing his business $63.
Theft: A Poland woman reported five shopping bags containing $170 worth of merchandise were removed from her car parked at the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: A man in the 7400 block of West Boulevard reported his apartment was broken into and a 27-inch flat-screen TV and a $200 Sony PlayStation 2 game system were taken.
Dec. 5
Theft: Police arrested a 17-year-old Struthers boy on a theft charge after an employee at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road, alleged he took $232 worth of merchandise.
Vandalism: An employee at the Longhorn Steakhouse, 953 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered $2,000 in damage to a door and frame, $3,000 in damage to a section of a cinder block wall and other damage in a side delivery area.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 7000 block of Marinthiana Drive said a boy, 14, used a BB gun to shoot two windows at her home.
Domestic violence: A 21-year-old man was arrested at his Washington Boulevard residence on a domestic-violence charge after a family member reported being a victim.
Theft, criminal damage: An Oakridge Drive woman reported an outdoor Christmas decoration damaged, and an inflatable Santa Claus ornament and five plastic candy canes stolen from her front yard.

Criminal damage: Five Sugar Cane Drive residents and three Midgewood Drive residents reported $60 in damage to their mailboxes.
Arrest: A 43-year-old man was arrested at his Clifton Avenue residence on a domestic-violence charge after a family member alleged he pointed a gun at her during an argument.
Bad checks: An employee at Nemenz IGA, 223 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported receiving two checks, totaling $249.84, that were returned after being drawn on a closed account.
Theft: Police arrested two 15-year-old Niles girls on theft charges after a tube of lip gloss, two hats and another item were stolen from Wal-Mart. One girl also was charged with possession of tobacco under 18 years of age and the other girl faced a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found a suspected marijuana pipe.
Theft: A 24-year-old Lowellville man was arrested at Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, and charged with theft by deception after $120 was stolen from the business.
Theft: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after $892 worth of clothing and an $180 purse were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall. She also was charged with resisting arrest.
Theft: A woman reported a handicap parking placard was stolen while she was at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after an $18 bottle of wine was stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Assault: A Columbiana woman alleged a woman, 23, assaulted her at KFC, 6636 South Ave.
Theft: An 18-year-old Canfield girl faced a theft charge after six packs of cigarettes and seven miscellaneous grocery items were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Arrest: After responding to a report of an assault near U.S. Route 224, police arrested a 14-year-old Youngstown boy at Krispy Kreme Donuts, 796 Boardman-Poland Road, on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
Burglary: A woman in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue reported that an X-box game system, 35 X-box games and four controllers stolen were stolen in a burglary at her home.
Arrests: After conducting a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Hillman Way, police arrested a Youngstown woman, 23, and a Boardman man, 32. The woman was charged with failure to appear in court on a theft charge; the man faced charges of resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing official business and having no operator's license.
Theft: A man in his 20s or 30s stole a $2,200 laptop computer from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.
Dec. 7
Theft: Someone removed a Vindicator newspaper from a newspaper box without paying for it in the 7100 block of Tiffany Boulevard.
Arrests: While conducting an investigation, police arrested a Masury woman, 58, a Boardman woman, 37, and a Youngstown woman, 46, at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St. All three were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and other charges included unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of drugs (cocaine) and felony drug possession. Officers say they found three suspected crack pipes and a box containing suspected cocaine.
Arrest: A 26-year-old Orlo Lane man was arrested at his home on charges of robbery, domestic violence, disorderly conduct and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The suspect's mother alleged he struck her in the head, coerced her into driving him to a bank to withdraw money from an account and used her car without consent.
Criminal damage: A man discovered $40 in damage to an 8-foot Santa Claus lawn ornament at his residence in the 800 block of Southwestern Run.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Fairfield Drive reported a box of checks had been removed from her mailbox.
Theft: A woman in the 60 block of Woodview Avenue reported a $100 cement Elvis Presley bust stolen from a side yard.
Burglary: A man in the 4000 block of Windsor Road reported two sets of keys to his residence stolen.

Dec. 2
Breaking and entering: Nothing was missing from the Poland Fire Department, 111 S. Main St., after someone entered through a back door and likely went through a filing cabinet.
