EAST PALESTINE -- The East Palestine Middle School problem-solving team wants your corn flakes, frosted flakes, and other favorite cereals.
Middle school pupils are collecting boxes of cereal through Friday and Monday through Dec. 19 for the Social Concerns organization in East Palestine.
The cereal can be dropped off at either the middle school or high school from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The cereal will be included in food baskets distributed to needy families during the holidays.
Jean Metzger, the problem-solving team's adviser, said the team wants to collect enough cereal for 150 food baskets.
